When?
Now or later? or not at all ?
Are you confused yet?
I went to a follow-up doctor appointment with an orthopedic ...
I have a torn meniscus in my left knee.
Do I live with the pain (which isn't constant but there none the less and rather intense at times) or have arthroscopic surgery?
Has anyone had this situation and what did you decide to do?
Pros and cons ??
Like I said above ... I have a decision to make and I'm not quite certain as to what to do.
Any comments are welcome.

You know, I think you should do it because it'll increase your quality of life. You'll have some healing / downtime to deal with but once that's over with and done? You'll most likely never have to worry about your knee hurting you again.
Just do it!
You need to talk to HP. He had the exact same thing and had surgery when Tigger was a newborn. He'd be happy to talk to you!!
Get it done. Mine was torn back when I was 19. I had surgery 7 years later, and again a year later to have a really small tear fixed. Recovery is only days. It's worth getting done. Plus I'm sure they are much better at fixing things in 2008. I had my surgery in 1986.
