In every way you possibly could be !! Enough said ....
It was nice to greeted by this when I finally got home tonight !
I think this is the first time the Christmas Cactus has actually bloomed around Christmas !!
I have always wondered how the plant knows what time of year it is !!

It tried to snow today ....
Very disappointed ....
All it did was mess up rush hour traffic and it will probably freeze overnight ...
Fun rush hour in the morning, I am sure ....

And among many other entrants, there was this special vehicle ...
After it was over, we were standing in line waiting to see Santa and it started to rain. Jillian told me we could leave now because Santa knew want she wanted because she had just seen him at Walt Disney World and he would remember her.
I asked her what she liked best. Her answer was ...
The Candy
(can you see it in the pockets of the chair)
The Reindeer
(the one in the middle with the antlers)
Santa
AND ...
Lunch with Gramma !!

I spent the afternoon with my granddaughter (will post about that later - it involves downloading pictures and I'm just too tired to do it right now). At the end of the outing, we stopped at Burger King for a bite to eat.
Out of the blue, she asked me why I call her Daddy "Matthew". I told her "because he's my son and that is what I named him". She sat for a moment, then said "you spell it wrong". I asked her why. She informed me that it should be "Math You" because that is the way it sounds.
That's rather "creative" for a 5 year old - don't you think?

Today is the first day of December. A day when I should be getting the Christmas things out of the attic. A day when I should be thinking about shopping for all the gifts I need to purchase. A day when I should be getting out the Christmas cards and getting them in the mail. A day that I should be doing all kinds of things that need to be done for the upcoming holidays.
Instead, I have spent the majority of the afternoon RAKING LEAVES ! I don't have any trees in my yard - the little Japanese maple in the front yard doesn't really count. Damn that stuff called wind. Everyone that has a tree in their yard, also has a clean yard. Just not fair !! The hell with bagging them up and putting them out at the curb .... I just pushed them all into the woods (what little there is left) behind my townhouse. Let the wind blow them somewhere else!
AND NOW, I am too damn tired to do anything else ..... and I have boo boos on my thumbs. (I forgot to put on gloves).
Have a wonderful weekend.
